My Story

For those of you who haven't seen the news. My friend Kevin Mengel Jr's life was taken by his wife on June 17th 2010. I do not wish to explain the whole story but you can do some googleing and be sure to find out yourself. Kevin's Mengel Jr. is survied by 3 beautiful kids that no longer have a dad and from what it sounds like will no longer have a mother. We ask of you to please donate so we can provide to these kids what kevin would have if he were still here. Kevin was a very hard working indvidual with a young thriving landscape company MKB Property Maintenance. The children are in good care of their grandparents but should still have the right to a college education and everything that kevin would have provided for them. Donations can sent via paypal using the button to the right or the button on the top. Checks can be mailed to:

We are also looking into a Beef and Beer charity event with a silent auction in the up coming months. Any help is appreciated.

Your Friend

Obituary

Kevin E. Mengel Jr, 33, of West Goshen PA, was taken suddenly and tragically from his loved ones on June 17, 2010. ... Kevin, the oldest of 3 siblings, was born in Springfield Pa on July 2, 1976. He graduated from West Chester East High School in 1995. In 1998 his first child was born and from that moment on Kevin dedicated himself to his family and bettering himself.

Kevin was an ambitious, accredited, local businessman who owned a landscaping company, MKB Property Maintenance, which he named after his true passion in life, the initials of his 3 beautiful children. His hard work and long hours were motivated by his devotion for his family and he made it his mission to give them the most life could offer. Kevin was a proud man with a simple idea. He believed family comes first and where there is family there is love and that is all you need.

Kevin is survived and missed by his three children Mercedes (12), Kevin (10) and Billy (6). In addition to his children he is survived by his parents, Kevin E. Mengel Sr. of Downingtown Pa, and Kathleen M. Barton and her husband, Dr. Richard Barton, of West Chester Pa.; a brother, Christopher Mengel and his wife, Rosa, of Pottstown Pa; a sister, Michele (Mengel) Hopkins, and her husband, Eric, of Haverford Pa; two nieces and one nephew.

A Memorial service
will be held to honor the life of Kevin on July 18, 2010 at the Goodwill Fire Co. 552 E. Union St. West Chester, PA from 2pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers his family asks for a donation to be made to his children’s trust fund:
